Kurt Cobain was born on February 20, 1967, in Aberdeen, Washington, and became one of the most influential musicians of his generation as the singer, songwriter, and guitarist of Nirvana. Through albums such as Bleach, Nevermind, and In Utero, Cobain helped bring grunge music and alternative rock into the mainstream during the early 1990s. Known for his raw songwriting, distinctive voice, and deeply personal lyrics, he became a defining figure in modern music before his death in 1994 at the age of 27.

Fave eva memory of Nirvana gotta be dis tune... When I heard it first I was having beef wi some fella tryna push me into gettin 2g4 & having kids when I was only in ma 20's. I'd heard of the band in ma teens but didn't hear breed til a friend put it on at a party... I was like "we DON'T have to breed!" Thank you Kurt. It felt like you woz stickin' up for me from heaven when I heard dis tune. Rip. Legend 😵 (closest i could find 2 Nirvana emoji lol)
Kurt you were a legend and my childhood wouldn't have been the same without your music. I know it was inspired by several other great artists and that you were just in love with music itself. So I've gifted you this record player and hope you're chillin' in heaven listening to Beatles, Pixies & Vaselines or even having a jam with David Bowie! R.I.P Dude.
